PETE WENTZ

Peter Lewis Kingston Wentz III, better known as Pete Wentz, is an American musician best known for being the bassist and primary lyricist for the American rock band Fall Out Boy. He was born to a German father and an MGM Hawaiian mother of Native American, Asian and African) ancestry.

Since the announcement of Fall Out Boy's indefinite hiatus, Wentz has formed the experimental electropop group Black Cards. He owns a record label, Decaydance Records, which has signed bands such as Panic! at the Disco and Gym Class Heroes.

Pete was married to Ashlee Simpson, and Simpson gave birth to their first child, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, on November 20, 2008. Wentz said the reason behind the name Bronx "comes back to a very specific story between me and my wife. But I would just like to say that it wasn't because either of us were trying to give our son street cred. Their marriage ended in divorce "married too young and we grew apart'

Harper married his girlfriend of five years, actress Laura Dern. They have two children together, son Ellery Walker Harper and daughter Jaya. But on October 8, 2010, Harper, having been married for five years, filed for divorce from Dern, citing irreconcilable differences. However, it has been rumored that both Harper and Dern are considering reconciling.

Pete now lives in Los Angeles, California.
